Home Made Crunchy Granola
Ingredients
- 2 cups traditional rolled oats
- 1 cup flaked almonds
- 1/3 cup macadamia nuts
- 1/3 cup hazelnuts
- ½ cup sultanas
- 1 tbsp. mixed spice
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1 ½ tbsp vegetable oil (can substitute coconut oil if preferred)
Method
- Heat oven to 180 degrees (170 degrees fan-forced)
- Place the honey in a microwave safe bowl and heat for 10-15 seconds.
- Mix the oats, nuts, sultanas, spice and honey in a bowl.
- Spread mixture on a baking tray, drizzle with the vegetable oil and bake in oven for approximately 30 minutes, stirring at 10-minute intervals until golden and toasted.
- Allow to cool and store in an airtight container.
